About The founder
My name is Graham Turner, I am a senior at Polk County High School. I have a love for mountain biking and have had the opportunity to bike all over North Carolina and beyond. I started Pedal Up, Inc. with a mission to provide youth here in Polk County the joy of owning and riding a bike. I want to introduce biking, riding trails, basic bike maintenance and promote getting outside. Biking for me has provided many hours of fun and fitness and I want to share that with deserving young riders here. The focus of my organization is a program to collect and give away bicycles to those who may not otherwise have the opportunity to own and enjoy a nice bike. I ask for your help in my journey.
